DMX started rapping around the late 1990s. The rapper released his debut album The album It's Hot and Hell was Dark May 19, 1998. Other albums include... and There was X, the Great Depression Year of the Dog... Again The Redemption of the Beast Gran Champ, Flesh of Blood and Flesh. The album... And Then There Was X won an Grammy prize in 2001 in the Best Rap Album. He also has been featured in films such as Lords of the Street Belly Top Five and Exit Wounds. The Bleeding Romeo Must Die Backstage Beyond the Law Lockjaw and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
